JOB OPENINGS
Snack bar/concession person - weekdays and/or weekends
Positions available - 2 days and 2 weekends
Fast Forward is currently searching for help during the weekdays. This is a prefect job for the stay at home parent while the kids are in school. We schedule several private parties throughout the week for school groups and different organizations. These parties start usually around 9am and, depending on how many parties we have for that day, will end by 3pm. The position is part time and hours do vary weekly. You will work anywhere from 3 hours to 20 hours per week. Again these are not set schedule hours. Weekend hours are Friday night through Sunday afternoon. There are some occasional Sunday night parties.
For this position, we are looking for people with positive attitude, willingness to serve the public in a quick and happy manner. We make customer service first here at Fast Forward. Cashier experience is preferred, but will train the right person. Duties of a snack bar/concession worker is, but not limited to: selling food to the customer, working the cash register, cleaning up spills when needed, handing out skates, making popcorn - pizzas when ordered, being a hostess for Birthday Parties during open public sessions, cleaning after session and what ever else may be needed.
Wages are based on experience.
DJ and/or Skate Guard - days and weekends

We are currently searching for DJ's and Skate Guards for our busy season. During the weekdays, we schedule several private parties for school group and different organization. DJ's should have some experience speaking in front of large groups and must be able to skate either on Inline's or quads. This person must be able to interact with the party. Knowledge of music is very helpful and very clear speech is needed. Duties of a DJ is, but not limited to: handing out skates, playing music and interacting with the public, watching the skating floor making sure all skaters are safe. Taking request from the skaters, cleaning after session and what ever else may be needed. Wages are based on experience.
Skate Guards must be able to skate either on inlines or quads. Must be good with the public and with kids. Duties of a skate guard is, but not limited to: handing out skates to the public, watching the skating floor to make sure that the skaters are safe at all times, skate repairs, cleaning after the sessions and what ever else needs to be done.
